I started my career working in marketing. I had gut symptoms that were fluctuating all over the place and I didn’t really know who to turn to or what to do.

My doctors initially thought I had IBS, which was later diagnosed as coeliac disease (an autoimmune condition treated through a strict gluten-free diet).

Through this period of gut turmoil, I discovered the world of nutrition and knew this was where I wanted to focus my career.

I retrained as a Nutritionist, starting with a diploma in Nutritional Therapy before going on to complete a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Aberdeen. I’ve also undertaken further training in the vaginal microbiome through a six-month holistic genitourinary healthcare course.

After retraining, I built this business alongside my marketing career, slowly reducing my marketing hours while increasing my nutrition hours. In 2025, I left my position as Senior Client Director at a marketing agency and took the leap into running this business full time.
